Military Project

What is the purpose of our military? What routine functions does the military perform?  How do you join the military? Who joins the military?  Where does the funding come from? What do you imagine will be different about the military 25 years from now? What will high tech weaponry be like?  Express your vision with a 3d Rhino drawing.

Answer

The purpose of our military is to defend our nation, defend our interest, and to help our allies.  The military routinely goes to foreign nations suffering from hunger, natural disasters, and other problems and gives them aid.  The funding for the military comes from American tax dollars, which is why the American people care so much about what the military does because they are ultimately going to pay for it.  In the (near) future, I imagine that the military's operations are going to be performed more and more by un-manned vehicles rather than by soldiers in order to have the least amount of loss of life.  The new weaponry will also be more energy efficient, more accurate so that less innocent civilians die, have less of an effect on the environment, and be less detectible by eye and radar.

My project reflected what I think the military and it's weaponry will have advanced to in the future.  It shows a tank similar to the ones our nation uses today but is controlled remotely so that there is no loss of life if it is compromised.  The tank also has as reflective exterior instead of a painted on camouflage pattern so that it blends into its environment more effectively.
